Summer is here and it’s finally time for one of our favorite events of the year: The Water Street Wine Festival. This year’s festival will be on June 9th from 3PM – 10PM. Expect lots of food, fun and of course…wine!

The event draws people from across the tristate region! All festivities take place on Mount Vernon’s beautiful riverfront, and you must be 21 or older to enter. Tickets are on sale now for $20 per person or $30 per couple. They can be purchased online here or at any of these local participating businesses: Chamber of Commerce, United Fidelity Bank, Hawg N Sauce, IGA and Community State Bank.

With your admission, you’ll get to spend the evening tasting a wide variety of wine and beer from the region, enjoy some tasty food from local restaurants and caterers and let loose with live entertainment. This year’s live entertainment lineup features a variety of music, including reggae, folk and light rock:

Desmond Zion – 3PM – 5PM

The Honey Vines – 5PM – 7PM

Lindsey Williams – 7PM – 10PM
